Wish We Had A Tunisian Like Him!

With our incompetent political leaders who inspire nothing but corruption, inefficiency and a total lack of attitude, I think we badly need success stories who inspire the masses (and especially the youth), who call every bit of patriotism out of them and who bring back a sense of achievement and audacity, be it in business, in sports, in science and technology or any other field by the way.

What we need is some local living legends, who by dominating in a world-class elegance in any given field and who being given enough recognition from their own country men and women, can wipe out that very destructive routine of "oh-I-can't-do-it-and-nobody-here-did-it-before-anyway". Those who watched "Enemy @ the Gates" know exactly what I am talking about here.

With a higher morale, people will ignore the regime altogether since they will perceive the state as only People and Land ( thus eliminating the Power component altogether from the equation), they will bring the best in themselves to emulate the good guy but then again they will question themselves that if they're doing that good, shouldn't they deserve even better? That "better" will only be fulfilled if the political leadership is fostered by legitimacy (democratic votes) and ACCOUNTABILITY (constant follow up by the Parliament and the opposition).

That being said, I hope "they" won't close Hergla Karting Park any time soon...
